😌 Try Out Meditation 🧘

To some people, meditation may seem like a real hippy-dippy thing to do. I’ll be upfront in saying that I’ve been meditating (almost) every day for about 4 years. For those of you who know me personally, you know that I can be a pretty hyper/intense kinda gal. Haha! My brain never ever stops with ideas, worries and rapid thinking. With the help of meditation, things that used to make me so aggravated don’t bother me nearly as much. I swear! It’s true. I would never lie to you.

I use the Headspace app for the most part, but there are tons of free guided meditations on YouTube as well. Throughout the week I am going to be posting links and resources for you to check out so you can…treat yaself!

And for those of you who are already into meditation, I would love to get some resources from you!

🎨 Make Art for YOU 📝

Most of us have been tricked into believing that we can only make art if we’re good at it. Think about all of the creative/artistic things you’ve always wanted to try but convinced yourself that you would be “terrible” at it.

This week I want you to toss that silly limiting thinking out the window! I’m here to tell you that you can make art just to make art. No one expects you to be Bob Ross out the gate!

This week I plan on creating something just to enjoy myself. No pressure. No beating myself up over the finished project. Just relaxed creative fun. Maybe I’ll draw, maybe I’ll make a beat, maybe I’ll try to paint…so many options!

If you decide to do this project, all I ask is for you to be proud of yourself for taking the time to do something for YOU. And maybe you’ll try to make more art more often. Feel free to message me about what you created.
