Have you ever danced like a crazy person in your kitchen? If you have you know how great it can be. If you haven’t you NEED to do it! If your kitchen is too small go into a room that will allow you cover a little bit of ground. Then put on music that will make it hard for you to not to dance. If you tend to not have the house to yourself, invite other people to join. You won’t regret it and neither will they.
I’ve been thinking about trying meditation forever. To some of people, meditation may seem like a real hippy dippy thing to do. I’m going to let go of any preconceived notion I have about meditation and give it a try. There are a lot of guided meditations available online and I plan to use one to help me clear mind this week…even if it’s only for 10 minutes. 10 minutes meditating is better for the soul than 10 minutes of scrolling through Facebook. Let me know if you have any guided mediations that you’d like to recommend.
Most of us have been lead to believe that we can only make art if we are the best at it. There are so many artistic things that I’ve wanted to try out and I’ve convinced myself not to bother because “I’m not good at it.” It’s silly, I know. This week I plan on enjoying the process of making art and not caring if it’s perfect. It’s something I should do more often.
